Heavy-haulage trailer with a new coating procedure
In the area of heavy haulage, the 3-axle platform trailer and the 5-axle semi low-loader represented DOLL's usual level of quality. Of course, this also included established technologies such as the panther chassis and the DOLL tronic electronic control system. Tried and tested for decades, the KTL coating procedure is helping DOLL to set standards on the market. When combined with the subsequent powder coating, every inch of the vehicle is perfectly protected against corrosion. The outstanding surface finish ensures that rust cannot form, even in the event of damage. The KTL procedure will make DOLL vehicles even more durable in the future and help them to preserve their value for longer.
DOLL Connect – the app for digital trailer management
Another highlight in Hanover was the DOLL Connect app. With this world first, DOLL is taking an important step towards the future as an innovation leader. Drivers and operators are provided with a graphic display of all kinds of technical vehicle data bundled into one app. Visitors to the DOLL stand were particularly impressed to see safety-related data such as tyre pressures and grease container levels.
Roadshow with the ratioplus long-timber vehicle
In the timber area, DOLL presented its ratioplus long-timber vehicle. The perfect combination of forced and self-steering trailer boasts absolute directional stability and ensures easy and safe manoeuvring even in confined spaces. For the first time, the roadshow – which starts in October – was advertised at the IAA. As part of this campaign, prospective customers can test the ratioplus on their own premises for one week for free and without any obligation.
A 2-axle short timber trailer, manufactured according to the tried-and-tested lightweight concept, rounded off DOLL Fahrzeugbau's trade fair appearance.
We would like to thank everyone who visited our stand and we are already looking forward to the next IAA Commercial Vehicles.
